Originally farmers, Thomas and Helen Porter brought up a family of five children in the Dorchester area. In 1964, Thomas entered into the tile bed repair in which Porter Sanitation was born. With a fleet of trucks and his son Carl by his side, in 1975 Porter Sanitation was renamed to A-A Sanitation purely out of the fact that A was at the top of the phone book listing. With over 40+ years of sanitation experience, Carl and Darcy Porter with their four children took over the family business and got it where it is today. Now semi-retired and a proud member of the Lions Club for over 15 years, Carl can be found at the race track fixing his daughter's car or spending time with his grand-children.
Darrell Porter, the third generation A-A Sanitation owner has learned from the best and knows the business inside and out. He is fully licensed to install & repair septic tank systems and is confined space & WMHIS certified for the Elgin, Middlesex and Oxford County. The family business is close to his heart and he hopes to one-day grow the business for his own children with his wife Rebecca. In his spare time, Darrell can be found reading books to his kids, playing hockey or baseball and enjoying time racing sprint cars.
